THAT COLD NIGHT
They said the night is absence of light And cold the absence of heat As eerie as these absences make them look Solace is the theme when these two collide On that cold night I sat down Listening to my pulse drop down My heart beats like a shamed widow Accused of murdering her provider Eyes to the skies and the clouds are racing past making the moon a prisoner in their selfish quest A lurch in the heart wondering where they go Oh! I hope my precious sun is not in trouble Are the snows the clouds forms of sweat showing they too are in the hustle How great are their hustle that the snow spots the lands and fills An insane hyperhydrosis I'll say The tall trees with sigmoid shadows Houses with the torso like silhouette makes good artistry of the snow That the Monalisa's painting would envy till penury As the moon broke out of the cloud's prison. The endless road brightens up snapping out of it's darkness demise There again goes my pulse beckoning...
