I gave you the promise of forever in a million ways, you told me the meaning of forever in every way possible, for all times, endlessly, always, non-stop, for infinity... Forever, we pledged, a promise we do not know but a promise we made. A promise made with eyes locked and lips sealed, a promise unknown, a promise unspoken, a promise only felt, a promise of absolute infinity. This promise, a timeless jewel engraved in hearts, never aging, never faltering, standing the murderous test is all times and seasons, a promise of forever, unspoken but passed down to every generation through intertwained hearts and smittened eyes.    You've heard about her, haven't you? The one they call forever. Her beauty is one you've never heard of or seen. It blossoms like a lily in harmattan. She's bright too, So bright that the light she emits blinds me when I look at her. How about you? Have you seen forever?     They say she made a promise. One I do not know. Do you know the promise? I heard no one knows. They say that's the point of the promise. No one knows what it is.    Is it good or bad this promise? Animate or not? No one knows, but hope is what we all do. Hope to be there when this promise of her's is fulfilled. We all like her-forever- we want to be with her Or better still, enjoy this promise of her's.     Some say they've glimpsed it, this promise. They say it's not what we thought it would be. They say the promise is draped in light, That this promise is so bright. They say forever holds the promise in her slender, long fingers. They say she fiddles with it, ...
