She promised me forever
And she was true to her words
Even when I hurt her with words
She stayed with me
In the midst of the lies and cheating
Vera never said a word
She battled with heart break
As I broke her heart over and over again
I wounded her soul
With my words
Broke her spirit
With my beatings
But Vera stayed true to forever
Even when I never said I loved you
Or it never looked like I ever cared
Vera was always there to welcome me with smiles
Even when I pushed her away
She refused to go away
Everyone begged Vera to go
But she said she had sworn to stay forever
But I took her forever for granted
Now she is lying cold
Gone from me forever

Breeze breath. Walking down the road, I feel done and dead. I feel disconnected My mind, my legs My hands, my stomach And my heart All in different places. Suddenly, a cool breeze hits me. Wow, it does mollify me It does sooth me to some extent. Only if we breathed that, Take a deep breath and you will understand. Air so cool and comforting. I know, no one ever took notice of that.
