In-Pass

There're some people in our lives
We can't help but chase after
When they are there, when they are not;
All our mind do is thirst after them.
Even when they are not there and when they offend us,
Our lonely mind still wants them to be near, close—
And all our body wants is to be enclosed and safe in that warm cuddle.
Sometimes like a disturbed snail we withdraw our heads,
Trying to control our feelings, our emotions
But we just can't...
We long and thirst, when we are weak or strong.
We tell ourselves, I'm not in love, we are just friends
I'm not even noticed at all.
Yet all we do is chase and pursue,
Running and jogging after them.
We know it's not right, (nor wrong)
But whichever way we way it that way.
We just feel the urge, feeling in our feelings that we are doing the right thing.
And so we get more close: passing in, slowly,
Till we get hooked and addicted.
The more they hate us, the more we crave more.
We don't understand that feeling...
And we never can...
...we are all caught up in this plight.
